Cera sat there, content.

Ali smiles and keeps rubbing Cera. Eventually she'd to lean her wieght against Cera but in the mean time she'd take it slow.
"You'd tell me if there was anything wrong wouldn't you Cera," Ali asks her, "Do you think eventually we could I don't know maybe take a break? I don't know about you but I'm tired. And if this isn't too much to ask could I stay with you for a while longer please?"

Cera looked at her, seemed to nod, and stopped. Right now, they were in a nice forested area with plenty of cover.

Ali sat down besides Cera. Her legs were sore. She was surprised that Cera understood her but at the same time Ali understood that Cera had probally learned some of the signs. Ali kept looking around and listening even though she was resting. After about ten minutes she got back up rubbing Cera's shoulder, "Ready Cera?"

Cera rose and nodded, continuing to walk.

After a while, they had found a massive tree, probably one revived from the prehistoric age. It had a hollow interior so Cera could fit, and a pretty easy way to climb up it to make a treehouse.

It seemed to be perfect.

Ali hugs Cera, "This is perfect you can have a nest here and I have a safe place to sleep too. Now all I have to do is get materials to build with."
She looks through the backpack for a treat to give to Cera. Something sweet like a fruit or vegtable prehaps. If she doesn't have that then rubbing will have to do for now. Ali looks around for some branches she can use to start building the house.

She has a few fruits and vegetables. Cera seemed attracted to an apple in there.

There were plenty of branches. She also found some rope in her pack. Perfect for a ladder into her future treehouse.

"To thank you and maybe help convince you to stick around Cera," Ali gives her the apple, "Now all I have to do is start building."
She works on gathering up branches keeping them in a pile near the tree. She works on building the ladder first out of rope and branches that way she has a way up and down. Ali also looks for vines that could later be turned into ropes or other items.

Ali chomped it down in one bite, before walking around and helping pick up fallen trees to chop up for wood and other heavy stuff.

"Thanks Cera," Ali says working on the ladder. Next she would work on the floor and roof since it might rain or have other bad weather here. If worse came to worse though she'd sleep with Cera. She debated having a fire but quickly discared the idea because of Cera and other other creatures who might be frightened by it or attracted to it. She had helped some of her foster siblings make tree houses before but she didn't know if she had all the right tools. Later if she didn't she'd go out to find bones or other items she could turn into tools or weapons.
