The world of Ethernia is ruled by magic, natural and unnatural. This magic is volatile, unable to be harnessed, and it dictates how life is lived for the five kingdoms. However, a new force has come into play, throwing the magic that keeps this world in order out of whack. Therefore, the leaders of each kingdom have come together to find a solution. Many ideas were brought up, before one was decided on. One individual from each kingdom will be selected at random to form the beginnings of a city out in the wilderness. These individuals are meant to be the most average of their people, as the leaders of each kingdom want to know if the average people can live together.

Ethernia is split up into five known areas:

The kingdom of Qadia: this kingdom, like most others, is comprised of one species. This species is the prymidea, a species of humanoid shapeshifters. Their main form is that of a human, with nothing being able to discern their species from any of the others. Their secondary form, however, is that of a cat. This can range within any type of domestic house cat, though not wild breeds.

Baecuria Empire: this species is the only one whos inhabitants are not able to shapeshift. They are bound to one form; with the top half of a human and the bottom half of a snake. They are not cold blooded, but are inclined to prefer warmer climates.

Laedon empire: the laedon empire is composed of two species; a form of shape shifter that shape shifts into some sort of bird, whether it be a tropical bird or something like a sparrow or woodpecker. and a breed of shapeshifters called Panthera onca, who shape shift into Jaguar. despite the massive differences in the species, the two get along very well and live together in the same cities, and even sometimes households.

Loterra Dynasty: this dynasty is home to two species, both shapeshifters; the Hyaenidae and the Panthera leo. The Hyaenidae are a breed of shapeshifter that can shift into hyena, while the panthera leo are shapeshifters that shift into lions.

The magicless Forrest: the magicless forest is not inhabited by anyone on account of the lack of magic. For some reason, the magic that controls the rest of the world refuses to settle in this area. The animals there are odd, they do not follow the rules of the rest of the world, they are not bound by the laws of magic.

There will be a limit of two people per each kingdom due to the fact that the Loterra kingdom has two species, and it would not be fair if they were the only one to have two people. the story ends when the group has successfully set up camp, with buildings, a perimeter fence, and farms to produce food.

As a human, he has dark freckled skin, very dark brown hair, amber eyes with golden flecks and a permanently frightened expression. He's very bookish and knows a good bit about magic, and if necessary he's competent with daggers from a childhood in the lower-middle-class. (Still, he'd probably apologize for stabbing someone who tried to attack him.) As a lion, he's skinny and not particularly strong, but fast and alert.
