(Starter post lol)
You sigh, shifting from foot to foot and wondering when this blasted royal procession will be over. As a citizen of Sunfire Elf society, you are expected to attend the royalty's many events and speeches, although you can't be the only one who despises such happenings. You, for one, would far rather be out hunting in the woods, with the sounds of the forest and the light of the sun all around you. Glorious. But for now, you are stuck here dressed in lots of gold and fancy clothes. You spot your friend Zanaeil looking, if possible, even more uncomfortable than you are. The young Sunfire Elf boy is very small and presently being smothered by the crowd. He glances at you, as if to say, little help here please?

she smirked and walked over to the boy helping him out the crowded areaaaa

"THANK YOU Nella," The boy breathes, adjusting his glasses and looking embarrassed. "Ugh. I hate being short." He huffs, placing his hands on his hips. He's nearly your age at 16, but evidently quite slow to mature. That, or he's just really small. The sound of the crowd hushes as the queen stands from her throne and begins her speech. Zanaeil, who is usually quite bookish, looks uncharacteristically bored, drumming his fingers on the wall.

"its okay you will grow out of it" she said snikering and patting his head

He sighs indignantly, folding his arms and pretending to be cross, but you know Zanaeil. It's impossible to get him angry.

After what seems like FOREVER, the queen finishes her speech and sits back down. The attendants are dismissed and everyone is allowed to go on with their day. Both of you groan and slump back against the wall. "Thank heavens that's over......."

"i could really use a drink" she mumbled and looked uppon the crowed

"I know a place!" Zanaeil offers. "There's a restaurant in downtown Lux Aurea," He offers, referencing the city in which you both live. "I hear the food's pretty good, but their specialty is moonberry juice. I can lead the way if you want." He shrugs. "Mostly, I just wanna get outta here." He curses under his breath and struggles out of the way of the bustling crowd. "Hate! Crowded! Places!"

she giggled at his struggle and moved past everyone "need help?" she asked him

"Yes please," He calls, mortified. "I swear for the love of all that is holy, the world belongs to tall people!"

She lifted him up threw the crowd and set him down on the other side "there! now we shall go" she smiled and strolled down the street
