His primary focus is 'balance', more specifically the balance of the universe. Aayala prefers to work alone, but do not mistake this for weakness: he is extremely deadly, as he possesses intangibility and shapeshifting, alongside his large arsenal of weapons and tools.

Backstory: Aayala is outside of time. A lone entity, tasked with the observation and conservation of the universe. It is fascinating, but it is lonely. Aayala gets the feeling he once had a species, but who were they? He doesn't remember. He left them long ago. Something about the humans seem familiar.... but no, he can't possibly be one of those chaotic creatures.... right?

Irene grew up in a small, wartorn industrial city in Siberia as a child, moving out to a resident space station and leaving Earth as soon as she was old enough to enlist in any sort of service. She's had a few stints as a starship captain for an interstellar protection agency and has far more patience for most aliens these days than other humans.
