I looked at the themed pet list, and puffadores were in the fabled fressence area. Are they fabled species? Because they aren't listed "fabled species" on the generator.

They're considered 'pseudo-fabled'- for all intents and purposes, they're a regular species (3-day breeding cooldown, lower base stats), but they can only be obtained in a very limited way, and their catalysts/ fest essences/ seeds are in turn counted as fabled to maintain that

They're something of a pseudo fabled. They have the breeding cool down of a non-fabled species (females can breed every three days rather than every seven), but they cannot be obtained in the wild normally, which is a trait they share with most of the fabled species (Aeridinis, Lighiras, Ryoris, and Griffis only available during their particular festivals, Ferrikkis only available in the Lost Grove and festival zones (and then, I think it's only themed ferrikkis you can find in fest zones?), and Ny'venes only available through their shop in Ethernia - which is exactly the same as the puffs). Only nephinis are available year-round in the wild and in more than one non-festival zone, but they are incredibly rare to run across in the wild.

So.... puffadores are kind of a middle species. I think most people classify them as fabled because of the way they are acquired, but technically, they are not truly a fabled species.

Sylestian lore-wise, to the best of my knowledge Puffadores are a domesticated species and aren't found in the wild, so that's what makes them harder to get, if that makes sense.
