Here's an idea of mine about the egg designs what if every egg had a design solely for every breed which can only be seen if it's a bred Sylesti like in this case a Vulynx, the changes I made is the tails are small and fluffy, the eye has an appearance resembling the race they are and if it's a female it has eyelashes and the egg looks a bit smaller, as for if it's a male it'll be the complete opposite no eyelashes and the egg is bigger.

This is just an idea as far as I know it could the most idiotic idea I've made so far, but it doesn't matter Krin likes feedback on anything and doesn't mind any type of idea.

I once mentioned this and was told that it was actually going to be a thing at one point. I do not know if it is still going to happen, but I would love it.

I don't think there needs to be a difference between male/female, as you don't know that until after the egg hatches, and I don't know when male/female is determined (Like on Flight Rising, the attributes of the hatchlings are determined when they are hatched, so up until that point, the site itself doesn't know what eggs are male and which are female.)

But, I definitely want different eggs for different species, like the fabled species have.

Ah, I see hmm, well, I just thought it'd be coolio if you could tell which gender your egg is, but maybe that wouldn't be a good idea hmm, maybe there could be different sizes of Sylesti's

being able to check gender before they hatch via tester would be nice too but i guess in RL you cant see the gender of creatures inside eggs till they hatch either xD

I don't think it would harm anything to know the sex of the egg before it hatches.

However, my point is that I don't know when sex is determined. I know that you can set the sex of the egg during fests when you 'grow' the pet, but for regular eggs that you find or bred eggs, I don't know if they are determined at the point they are bred/found, or just when they hatch.

If it is determined when the egg is created, then something like this could be done, but if it is like FR where the pet's attributes are determined when the egg hatches, then this couldn't be done, because at the point it is an egg, the site doesn't know what the pet is going to be.

Krin mentioned at some point (no idea what thread) that all of a pets attributes are determined as soon as the egg is created. So, it would technically be possible to have differences in eggs of different sexes.

Thanks, then differences in eggs would be nice and doable.
