Hallo!
I'm not at all new here, but there is something I need a tiny bit of help with uwu
I'm well aware that a pet receives XP for successfully completing a quest, as I've leveled a few pets from a lower to a higher level that way.
I'm currently trying to bump my player level from 69 to 70, but I've been overloaded with schoolwork and other things as of late.
So my question is this: If I send my level 69 pet on quests to level them up to level 70, will I level up as well?

Yep! Your user level is based on the highest level of pet you personally have levelled up. So when a pet in your possession levels up to 70, from missions or battling or whatever, your user level will go up as well.

Yes, your level is directly tied to the one of your highest pet, pet bough already at a level higher then your's wont change your level (until you level them up once). If a pet level up while you own it, eather by training, xp orb or mission, and they were at the same level as you previously, they will become your new highest level pet making you leveling up as well. ^-^
