Short story time! Fun :D
Some gay fluff, ft. Felix and Apathy!
(A bit of context: They're at an amusement park. Felix is a selective mute and Apathy is a demon.)
Felix's eyes shone with excitement as he gently tugged on Apathy's shirt sleeve. The demon turned, placing the hand on the shorter human's cheek. "What is it, Lixie?" Apathy asked softly. Felix was staring at the cotton candy stand beside the Ferris Wheel, sea-green eyes alight and glowing. Apathy laughed. Another amazingly hilarious thing about humans; they loved sweet things. And who was to blame? The first time Apathy had eaten ice cream, he had nearly melted. Humans were sweet, and liked their foods sweet as well. "Aw, Lix, I'll get you some," he promised, ruffling Felix's strawberry-pink hair. "Can't really blame you for wanting one..." Apathy headed over to the stand. Felix hung back, nervously winding his hoodie drawstrings around his slender finger as he watched Apathy pay for the cotton candy. Apathy returned with a plastic bag of fluffy pink cotton candy, the same colour as Felix's hair. The demon grinned and placed the bag in Felix's hands, marvelling at the softness of the smaller human's skin. Felix was a short human, if he was going to be honest. Quite a short human. A tiny human. But he knew his Lix was sensitive about his height, so he merely led Felix to the bench overlooking the beach and sat down with him, holding hands, enjoying their cotton candy while watching the sun go down.
