I'm trying to make a design that is black, gold, silver and red, but I don't think the silver and gold look quite right. The gold looks too yellow/orange and the silver too grey. Any suggestions on how to improve it are welcome.

Thank you! I'm very happy with the silver. I might make another tweak or two before I'm totally happy, but that helped a lot.

the biggest issue i see with this design at the moment is the g2 and g3, they are almost identical in coloration witch make them blend in too mutch so i have a few solutions for that ...
Solution 1 : swap G3 to silver
Outside of changing the color of gene 3, it's only minor color changes so they fit a bit better togedther. I changed the hue for C2 to a less greenish yellow and used a paler vertion of this new C2 for EC, M1/M2 had a purple accent in it witch i remove to a pure silver, G2 got a similar (but darker) gold coloration to C2 and M3 got darkened as it was looking a bit out of place.
Solution 2 : Dark gold (g2)/ pale gold (g3) contrast
I used the same alternates colors then previously but to different places, except for m3 who still ended up with a darker red. This color combinaison could also work quite well with bright red instead of silver if you decide not to go with a gold and silver design in the end.

A few things
First, your golds are fine, you just need to lower the saturation ever so slightly. Second, add more silver, it will enhance the silver/gold/red feel and the silver will feel less out of place (I only added it to g2 and it feels WAY more balanced). Third, the red on the wings is too bright, lower the saturation just slightly, it'll aid your overall design. And finally, the silver is alright but I always use light blue instead of lavender to show silver. Here's my updated design for you:
Hope it helps!! <3
