So, I was just replying to someones question about catalysts on the Q&A board, and started thinking about this. Right now, any unused catalysts we have just disappear prior to the start of the festival in question the following year. I think if there was a possible way for them to be transferred over & converted to Aged catalysts, that would be great. When I get catalysts, I always keep the ones I want and get rid of the ones I dont in some way or other. But its disappointing when, due to the time constraints of the fest in question, a lack of supplies, not enough tokens and/or gold to get the necessary amounts of said supplies, and the like, Im unable to use them, and theres no guarantee Ill be able to get those same theme catalysts when whatever fest they came from happens the next year.

Naturally, some safeguards/limits/coding would have to be put in place to prevent people from, say, accumulating a bunch of them purely for the purpose of selling them off. And some form of coding would also have to be added to them so they wouldnt disappear in the first place, but I really think it would be a good idea to do what I suggest.

Unfortunately, this isn't something that I would be willing to do. Festivals are designed so that each Festival is a fresh start for progress. All of the unique features, drop rates, etc, are calibrated for this.

There are many, many, many hoarders on here. =P It causes a lot of issues if things can be held onto from one Festival to the next. We have just finally gotten through the Festival token hoarding and finally moved forward from that lol.

Hoarders? nah, no such thing :P

But yeah, hoarders are on just about every site that allows you to do it, and while I do love how FR has their festivals set up, with the same currency being used, it does lead to people complaining about things being too easy (but considering they have 11 week long festivals and one 2 week festival a year, honestly, gimme easy)

while it would be nice on sylestia, I could see the same issues here as well, and since the stuff on sylestia is often meant to be a bit rarer or harder to get than the stuff on Flight Rising, it wouldn't really make much sense.

Sorry but like Krin boss said we just got over token hoarding. (Not ganna lie I was a huge one.) The economy on sylestia would crash every festival because harders (like myself) would cash in last years supplies for gold and it would flood the economy. Items would consequently be dirt cheep (as there were lots available) but then cost more (as there was more gold in circulation). The economy was a reck. It's a lot better now.
