(sorry if i wasn't meant to ping everyone)
Hello. I recently figured out and felt confident with my identity and decided I should come out to my Mum. It didn't go great.
Her response was
'Thinking girls are pretty doesn't mean you are lesbian. All my friends who are lesbian took years to figure out.'
It wasn't even what she said, but how she said it. She said it like I was stupid and confused. She then proceeds to tell me how you have to be in a relationship with a man to know. She ended with 'you aren't lesbian'
it kinda hurt tbh

im soo srry dont listen to her okay you dont have to be with a man to knw who you are you are beautiful and strong just belive in yourself and in your sexuaity dont let anyone get yu dwn okay .ANd if you feel lonley just knw that you are not alone and that we alove you :)
