So I did not go the traditional route with my pets and have them a lot more balanced than seems to be recommended. It has served well in site missions and the like but the boss battles are giving some grief. Could someone take a look at my pets and tell me if there is something I can do for them or do I need to just start over and how I would do that? My main party are the first three but I also use ones further down, Rhys, Ryouta, and Belladonna, with Melor and Ryouta in lead for each group but there is some degree of interchangeability. For the final battle in Aryth's Spire, I used Ryouta, Rhys, and Jasper and the combination worked fairly well but I don't know. This is making me feel like a rookie idiot especially since this is my first game of this type. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest following some of the guides available. It's definitly helpful to have one pet stacked with health, and it helps a lot to have at least one geared for high attack damage. You can reset your both your level points and your proficiency points, but it does cost gold. (just look for the reset button on both screens)

For missions, I would suggest making specific pets for specific missions. I have two pets for each stat possibility to make sure I can always take the highest level missions for the most gold. It has kept me pretty well off.
