When I first got on today and reloaded my screen I also had a black map. After clearing my cache it went away, but I've never seen the black broken map before.

Nothing has changed on the site with images so it seems like it'd be a local issue.

Is the issue persisting? Did you try clearing your cache?

I haven't been running the zone enough to happen to me again but yes, clearing the cache did resolve it. :)


For it to be a local issue, though, it seems unlikely that it would affect both Malas and myself at basically the exact same time. Malas delayed posting on the thread to finish the Spring Blossom Rikki event, but in region chat Malas had commented on the black tiles in right as I was creating the bug report itself. Which, strangely enough, the black tiles did coincide with the Rikki event starting.

Perhaps you both use the same browser and it did some sort of update prior to the time of the incident and the update corrupted the cache with however we specifically have the images coded? I dunno lol.

Without it being something I can reproduce or encounter on a large scale, it's virtually impossible for me to diagnose.
