So most people know that June 1st is the beginning of pride month. But, people on 4chan (Mainly that place, but it's on other sites as well) have been planning something called Pridefall. Pridefall is an 'event' where people harass members or those associated with the LGBTQ+ community with images/gifs/videos of horrifying acts being done to LGBTQ+ people.
Now, I don't know 100% what Pridefall is, but I do have a general idea and a decent amount of knowledge, so I can try and answer questions about it. Pridefall can be a sensitive topic since how bad it is to people that are in or associated to the LGBTQ+ community, but I still want to try and help out about this.

Some more detail about Pridefall is it's where people are just harassing LGBTQ+ members just for the heck of it. They will be going on social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and even Discord to harass people in the community. As I said, they will be sending images/gifs/videos of people being hurt mentally and physically. I don't want to say the ways since they're dark and very trigger worthy to people that may have experienced it. But I think you understand what I'm talking about.

And some good ways to protect yourself in this if you're in or associated with the LGBTQ+ community is to -
1. Don't click on links from unknown people
2. Stay safe, make sure you know people and don't send out any personal information to untrusted people.
3. Just stay off of social media for the month of June. (This may be difficult to some/most people)

I believe Pridefall has been going on for quite some time, but I believe this time it's larger than the times before. So please stay safe out there, and be cautious.

Most people don't know what this is, but more and more people are starting to know and find out about it. Which can be either good or bad depending on what side they're on.
Also, most people have been saying this will flop, but I would still like to have this here for people to have incase it doesn't. But we will only know if it will flop when it becomes June 1st. And people usually do this just to scare people, but it's never too bad to be safe.

I never understood when people hate on the LGBTQ+ community. We never affect their lives in any harmful ways so just why?

I don't know why. I've tried thinking up ideas, but I just can't come up with a logical conclusion. I could get it if people didn't agree, but to go out of their way to attack us is just excessive.
I hope one day we at least get some peace from the attacks.
