It's Zorazora here with a quick request.

So, to be blunt, I haven't had a proper roleplay in 9-10 years and I'm missing the playing a bit. I'm very rusty at Roleplay and I'd feel awkward if I joined a group roleplay and not really know what I'm doing. I've also never done anything in forums before so it's going to be a struggle for me to keep afloat with y'all who've got more experience.

Thus, my request is such: Can anyone help teach me how to roleplay on here and get me in gear? I'm a beginner roleplayer, essentially, and I'd like someone who's willing to let me ask questions and practice with them. I need to get better at long responses as all I can do at the moment are brisk ones, but I do try my best.

As for what I do?
I'm a third-person roleplayer, and I will only do third-person.
I usually play male characters. If it's animal-based then I will possibly do females, but if human or humanoid then I play males almost exclusively.
I do high fantasy, normal fantasy, drama, tragedy, and if you want it to be a post-apocalyptic or dystopian, hit me with all the grim settings and scenarios you've got. I love dark topics in stories so I doubt roleplay will be much different.

The only thing I'm picky about is romance. Won't do anything that focuses on just romance. I need something with an intense plot to hold me down.

I suppose we could. As for the genre, as I said above I like high fantasy and dystopian and I really enjoy stories that include dark topics. But, of course, there doesn't need to be!

Well, recently I had an interesting dream I think could be used as a beginner for what we'd RP.

In the dream, humans and mutant animals (which are actually common there, probably it being an alternative earth where animals are really freaky. A lot of them are straight-up pets) live side by side, and humans often use these mutant animals as either companions or work partners. Just like dogs with jobs, mutant animals can be used alongside their tamers/owners for all sorts of jobs. Such as working with bounty hunters to catch criminals. There's like some urban fantasy in there, not really high fantasy as it's very modern and earth-like.

It was just a weird dream, so meh. It's a starting point for ideas.

Yeah, I would prefer it if you ping me. That way I can get back to you quicker. But that idea seems like it could be really fun! And maybe for some reason random mutants are going crazy, so humanity has began to turn their back on them?
