So I want to upload this picture and copied the Image Address, pasted it between those img thingys but all that shows up is this

Img tags are for images, which typically have urls that end in .png/ .gif/ .jpg
What you have there is not actually an image url, and as such it cannot show it as an image.
I'd suggest using an actual image-uploading site like Imgur or Photobucket to host the image, or another method, like deviantart or discord or something?

eg. https://i.imgur.com/XeozGAR.jpg is a viable image url
https://i.imgur.com/XeozGAR is not, as it's a url for the imgur page where the .jpg is located

Yep! Sylestian avatar and pet image urls do not end with .png/.gif/.jpg, since the site can draw them directly from it's own information (as the site obviously has access to its own image building resources)
