On our profiles, there is a little area below the general stats and About Me where you can see battle progress, total gold earned, ect. I wish there was an option to show how much gold you have on you currently. This could be automatically off and there's an option to turn it on.
Idk. Post thoughts below. This was a good idea when I first thought of it >.<
I can now see the downsides to this idea and have henceforth 'deleted' the thread so no need to post anything anymore

I'm not sure I understand where this suggestion is coming from? Is it because you want to see how much gold *other* people have on hand when going to their profiles? Because, otherwise.... you can see how much gold you have on hand on the upper left-hand side of the screen along with diamonds, AP, and scales you currently have on hand.

I agree with Mika. I'm also not sure what you mean. If it's to see your own gold, then you can just look to the left on your profile and see what you have at a glance. So it's not needed.
If it's to see other people's gold amount, or have others see your own, then I will say no thanks. That's not an option we need and I don't see why it would ever be wanted. You wouldn't go around people in real life and tell them how much money you have, that's just rude and could be dangerous. It works pretty much the same here. It should not be available for all to see, or even just friends to see. Sounds like boasting to me.
If someone wants to talk about how much gold they have, then use a pm. :/

I like the suggestion about having a little box saying how much money you currently have so others an see.. so then people won't lie about how much gold they have. also, people can determine if they are able to actually like pay back someone if they were to like borrow gold from someone such as the loan gold forum.

See above this post ^
That is kind of what I am getting at. I can agree, though, that this is a bit confisuing because I came up with this idea at like 9pm last night. But that's what I am kind of getting at. Of course, it would be off automatically.

Well, I honestly don't see the need, but if the default were to have it not show and it's my choice to make it show, then have no argument against it. *shrugs*

It would open a whollllllllllllle bundle of issues. you are negotiating a trade and someone goes to your lookie and see that you have say 3m on hand. they wont accept 300k when they can ask for 500k since you have the gold to do it. A newbie sees you posting on chat and sees that you have lots of gold. Mails you and mails and mails and mails asking for gold since "you are rich and being selfish not sharing" Then of course there is the account security issue to think of. you have 500m on hand, you dont really spend your gold anymore, you do trades of pets and items if you can and suddenly anyone can see you have 500m. you log in one day and find every last amount of gold on your account gone. Cods were accepted from 30+ different accounts that have just been created and funneled through the accounts back to a handful of accounts that "sold an item" to someone for that so Krin would have to spend a large amount of time chasing it all to try and find the person that did it cause Krin wouldnt want them on site anymore than anyone else would
so in the end, it wouldnt bring any beneficial effects, it would just bring issues that would waste Krins time sorting
and @Beaubuddyz you post support on literally everything.

No, I don't just support for fun. I just take the time to see the good in ideas and see if it outweighs the bad.
For example, this would help keep people more honest on their amount so they don't get free stuff because they're 'broke'. Also, newbies sending CoDs all the time is spamming. You could easily report that or PM them asking them to stop.
And one of the things above was saying that you don't have to show it. It's a personal choice.
I personally would like to see peoples gold amount to make sure I can trust them. However, other people may not want to show that and it's okay.
And for hacking, you can just PM Krin. However, I understand that could go overboard too. If you really wanted to figure out who did it, (if you know how) you can go into the website and check. Then simply PM the user. And if somebody hacked, their account would probably be deleted which should sort out issues. Plus, Sylestia is one of the best sites I've seen. Everybody's close and nice to each other. Therefore, hacking should be a rare occurrence.
I hope this helped.
