Glancing around, you see your pup hiding under the broad paws of a female tawny wolf. Seeing you, the tawny wolf nods, backing away from the pup.

Before the wolf could answer, you see the warm eyes of your mother staring towards you. The tawny wolf backs off, leaving you in the cold open air.

I grunt in annoyance and pain, lifting up my paw I spot a long thorn entangled in it. Sighing I gently pull it out

(Cobra)
I swish my tail, lifting my muzzle into the air I scent for prey I need my pack

You watched the thorn bounce for a few seconds before rolling to a stop. Glancing around, you let out a grunt. Up ahead were only more thorn bushes. And all that meant was more thorns. Which meant pain.

Cobra

It turned out that it was a good day for hunting! To the left, you smelled squirrels. To the right, you smelled a deer. In front of you was a different smell you hadn't smelled before, and behind you was the refreshing scent of water.

I sigh Well I've gotta go that way I start walking. I leap over a few of the bushes

(Cobra)
I head towards the deer, making sure I'm downwind I stalk it. When I am close enough to it I pounce on it's back and bite it's neck

Surprisingly, the bushes are tiny. And after you're over the few bushes, you start to see gaps in between them. The gaps grow bigger with time, until you can comfortable walk through them The gaps continue to expand.

Cobra

The deer shudders briefly before crumpling to the group. Disturbed, you investigate the deer and see a deadly wound on it's neck that you didn't cause. The deer looks like it was wounded a little under a day ago.

(Lethal)
I look around for something to climb up to check my surroundings

(Cobra)
I drag the deer to the river I scented before and wash the wound out, making sure not to touch it

Lethal

You see a short-ish rock that's a little taller than yourself. It's small, but the terrain is pretty flat. It should do.

Cobra

The wound bleeds for a little bit, but then stops, the deer's mouth frothing. Now you were on edge. The deer was already dead. This shouldn't be happening unless...
...the deer was poisoned.
