So I was messing around in the wardrobe earlier and I began with 2 outfit slots and now have 1 after deleting the other outfit, is that the expected result?(like it would like me to buy a new slot to use a 2nd one again)
I was expecting it to become a blank slot again rather than be completely removed*

See the Wardrobe update, specifically "-Players can now save a maximum of 30 Outfits. Players can also purchase Outfit slots with AP, in addition to a reduced cost of Diamonds. However, players now only start with 1 free Outfit slot instead of 2."- so you kept both that were saved, but lost the second free slot you had saved before the update when you deleted it since that second slot no longer exists
