You have learned that a great sickness is affecting the minds of dragons all over the world. No one is sure where it came from but everyone knows it starts with dreams. Dreams of glowing golden scales, gems, and diamonds, but most importantly dreams of a great shrine of long ago. Then the sickness sets in. Dragons will start to cough and itch, distancing themselves from others. They speak in ramblings about "the mistress" or "the keeper". Their scales fall out and their skin turns dark grey. Their eyes a glowing orange and orange ooze pouring from their mouths. They attack any living creature they see besides other infected, this often gets them killed. If any dragon ingests the ooze that spills from their mouths they become infected too. Many dragons believe this is the end of the world. How will you survive?

GENERAL:
*Dragons and wyverns only
*No Power playing
*No Mary Sues/ Gary Stus (No perfect characters)
*Don't control other peoples characters
*Hate the OC not the player
*Any powers your dragon has must have some sort of draw-back the more powerful the bigger the draw-back
*This is not a sunshine rainbows roleplay. It will get dark!
*Please make sure your character's size allows them to fit through an average dragon's doorway

BATTLE:
*No god-mode
*No sudden dodging
*ATTEMPT the attack don't just say you did it 'The dragon aimed for her opponents neck hoping she would land a good blow'
*You HAVE to take damage sometime!
*If you really read the rules and are going to follow them put this code in other: 7742318

-Riverbalt Forest-

A dangerous forest where the infected lurk. The tall, gnarled trees make for excellent ambush spots. Many small villages are built near this forest and are in incredible danger. Some believe that there is a shrine to a long-forgotten deity that lies at the heart of this forest and that the ghosts of its former worshipers walk its halls. Stay away unless you want to be killed.

-Riverbalt Channel-

A large river that runs through Riverbalt Forest. Who knows what may lie beneath the water?

-Sea Haven-
*Roleplay Starts Here!

An enormous city floating on an eastern bay. The safest city because of its location. However many people have reported seeing infected in the streets.

-Shiversnow Forest-

A snowy forest to the north. Houses many less infected than Riverbalt Forest.

-Shiversnow Expanse-

An expanse of arctic plains that goes on for dozens of miles in all directions. Almost no infected gather here

Veyrun was perched in a tree, looking through his satchel, making sure everything was there before he departed. He soon clasped the bag and made his way down the tree. His tail had bitten onto the branch so he could lower himself down without falling. He looked around skittishly, making sure there was nobody nearby.

(WARNING: The flashback about to happen might be a bit gruesome. Just saying.)

Nekonata was having a wonderful morning. The sun was shining, the customers were coming in, and the creepy orange dragon she had met a few weeks ago was nowhere to be seen. The worst thing about that... killer... was that Neko knew who she was. Everyone did.

Nekonata didn't know her name and had settled on calling her Viper for the time being. She scowled and leaned over on the desk of her potion-selling stand, recalling the night they had met.

---

Nekonata was walking home after a long day of selling potions. She hadn't had much luck and had only managed to sell three. She stopped in her tracks when she heard something moving around in an alley to her right. She looked around trying to make out what it was.

She locked her eyes on what was making the noise. A golden and orange sun-colored Wyvern was on top of a green and ruddy brown dragon. The green dragon was very banged up. It seems they had been in a struggle with the other one. The wyvern had him on his back, pleading for his life.

"Please! Please, no." The dragon begged as the wyvern moved her fangs closer to his throat.

"Oh, and tell me again why I shouldn't kill you?"

"Because! Because..." He seemed to be having trouble coming up with a reason, "I can pay you more than whatever you are getting paid to do this!"

Nekonata could now make out what the dragon was wearing. He had on a brown waistcoat. It was old and dusty, with tears and stains. On the ground, she could see a matching tan tophat. It seemed like the thing a poor dragon would wear to seem wealthy.

The sun-colored wyvern tosses her head and laughs, clearly seeing through the fancy manner of dress, "Yeah, right." In one swift motion, she tears out his throat.

The orange wyvern backs up as the now dead dragon slumps to the ground. She turns to pick up something off of the ground. It was a deep orange-colored feather. She places the feather on the green dragon's head. And then Nekonata realizes that what the sun-colored wyvern has just done was a calling card. The very calling card of the infamous assassin many call, "The Serpent."

Nekonata takes a few steps back, preparing to run. No way was she going to be The Serpent's next victim! But she stops cold when the Wyvern's piercing eyes lock onto her. The wyvern races toward her so fast Neko can't react. She is pushed onto her side on the ground.

"Can't have any witnesses now can we?" The wyvern says smoothly.

Nekonata doesn't say anything. Her bone markings appear, lighting up the dark street around them.

The wyvern studies Nekonata. Her eyes land on her bag. She opens it, bottles and potions spilling out of it. The wyvern looks at Nekonata, seemingly thinking. She backs up, releasing Neko.

"I have someone who needs ingredients for similar things. I'll pay you for them but you have to keep your mouth shut about what you saw, and trust me, I'll know if you spill."

Nekonata nods, picking herself off of the ground, "How will I find you?"

"I'll find you." The wyvern pauses, "What do I call you?"

"Nekonata."

"Alright Nekonata, you can call me Viper. Now run along."

And that was what Neko did. She ran all the way home without looking back.

---

Nekonata sighs, wishing away the memory. It had been a few weeks since then. She had been giving Viper lots of ingredients for potions and making a stable profit from it. She felt bad about it though because she could only guess that they were being made into poisons to fuel more killings.

Neko shakes her head and puts on a bit of a fake smile, waving and calling to potential customers on the streets of the marketplace, "Potions and magical trinkets for sale! A variety of tinctures, rings, and many other things to suit you magical and alchemical needs!"

Cataracta was hiding. Swimming rather. Hiding in the sea. Taking breaths only a few times, when she absolutely needed it. I dont need any trouble. And I really dont need anyone to know that I even exist. She went up to the surface for a few seconds then dived back down. Back down to safety. Cant trust anyone. Its too dangerous. In her head, at all times. Viper killed her family, but couldnt find her. She stayed in hiding now. In case Viper had a score to settle.

Da-eun looked over Sea Haven on top of a small hill slightly outside of it. But she hated Sea Haven. Behind the beauty of the oceanic town was nothing but lies and danger. There was no great being for anyone to look up to. She had already made that mistake once and was not willing to do it again.

Flare stared at the town, looking nervously at the top of a nearby building, Wave, where are you? she asked gently through her mind, wave was not with her right now and she hated it. Letting out a sigh she flew down and landed on the busy street, looking around for him, waiting for a response.
(Open to interaction)

Wave glided in the river, relishing the feeling of water against his scales. Gliding forward he saw a dragon (Cataracta), of course he didn't know the dragons but he loved to meet new people. Wave, where are you? he heard his sister call in his head but he ignored it for a moment as he swam towards the dragon, waving at them as he greeted them with a big smile, Hey Flare, just hanging out in some water, you know, to relax.

Nekonata:

Neko is still calling out to the dragons on the street, hoping to get a customer, "Healing draughts, swiftness rings, and enchanted swimming fins! All for sale here at wonderful prices!"

Karahua:

Kara is perched on a high spire overlooking the sea. The building was easily one hundred feet tall, probably more so, was a dark grey and blue, and held many prized artifacts and books. It was almost funny how much she stood out against it. Karahua was not interested in such things, however. she was only up here to soak up some sun and watch the sea.

Karahua dreadfully missed her home in the desert. She even missed the baking sun. It was a bit chilly here in Sea Haven, especially in the mornings like this, and she had always hated the cold.

She turns her head downwards to watch the going-abouts at the busy harbor below her.

(Both are open for interaction!)

Veyrun had taken a few wrong turns and was placed in the market district of the city. He didn't have any hope of knowing where to go now, unless he started flying but he didn't want to waste energy until he was outside of the city- So he decided to get somethings he might need later. When he heard a dragon call out about her potions he was intrigued, maybe he could pick up a healing potion or two.

The small grey dragon cautiously walked up to the stand. "Uhm- Hello, do you have any healing potions I could buy...?", He asked, trailing off when he saw an amulet. "Not to be rude-" He picked up the silver and blue object. "- But what might this be?" His tail curled up to investigate what it's master was doing. *Quite interesting- but you shouldn't waist money on that, we need to eat.*, It told Veyrun, causing his fur to stand on end.

Nekonata smiles at the two dragons coming up to her stand, "Why hello there! Here I sell potions and enchanted items. Pretty much anything you can think of, I have many random trinkets and baubles I have picked up along the way."

She turns to the grey dragon, "Yes, I do have healing potions. Both for physical injuries and illnesses." She grabs some small bottles of red and pink liquid, "These are for minor injuries." She points to the red ones, "And these are for things like a cough or a cold." She points to the pink ones, "I have more potent things but these are the ones people usually buy."

She tilts her head at the mention of the amulet, "I do believe that amulet lets you breathe underwater for short periods of time. Like, thirty minutes or so before having a cool-down of a few hours. Would you be interested in buying it? I have lots of water-related items since this is Sea Haven." She smiles warmly.
