You gain 'Points' by completing the prologue and then you get more 'points' when you finish stages. after stage 1 you start to get into the part were you can start to have a little bit of a relationship with one of the supernatural class members of your class.

the more 'points' you get the better items you can buy once finishing stage 5. after stage 5 you discover the shopping center were you can buy items to make your choice character fall head over heels for you.

Check your points regularly sometimes you get more points as you progress without even realising it!
