Lark, this is a terrible idea and you're going to regret this. Keep telling yourself that.
This thread is a WIP, but we are mostly open? I guess?
Please forgive the cheesy name, because I'm bad at coming up with thread names, as I have probably just proved.

Basically, I've noticed that a lot of "interactive story" threads have been popping up recently in the Games forum and kind of drowning out a lot of other things.
So naturally, my terrible proposition is to attempt to organize it onto one (or two) thread(s), because that's somehow going to make things less chaotic.
This is the group thread, which will mainly keep track of all of the people who run these games.

Do not attempt to sign up for any of these yet.
Rule Enforcer (1-3) - Enforces the rules/guidelines.
Player Management (1-2) - Keeps track of players' pets and transferrable items (transferrable only, not in-game, as the narrator is in charge of that). To be notified if a player gets any pets, but should keep an eye out anyways.
Member Management (1) - In charge of making sure all members are active (includes keeping their posts up to date).
Head of Mini-Games (1-2) - In charge of coming up with and running various mini-games or events for players to earn more items or pets.
Admission Officer (3) - In charge of reading over joining members' and players' forms and deciding whether to accept or decline. Eventually will all be PMed for signups.
Gamemaker (Infinite) - Comes up with ideas for new games/stories.

~ Rules ~
These are the set rules for this club. If you break any of these, I have the right to either kick you out of this club, suspend you, or block you from ever joining. Please check here from time to time in case I change anything.
My English sounds really weird and stern right now as of the time of writing these, so please forgive me if I come off as harsh.
1. First and foremost, please treat everyone in this club (and anywhere else) with respect.
2. All Sylestia rules apply, as they should everywhere on the site :P That includes no swearing and NSFW stuff, although I really shouldn't have to be saying that.
3. I will eventually be granting roles to people I deem responsible. If anyone with the power to accept/suspend/reprimand people does so, treat it as if it were coming directly from me.
4. That being said, please do not rage or scream at any of these people if they do something you do not like. Feel free to appeal, but do so politely and keep in mind the fact that I will be paying attention.
5. Feel free to discuss random things on this thread with members, I don't mind, but please don't spam or use the pinglist excessively, and keep in mind rule 7.
6. However, please keep your personal arguments off this thread. I do not care where, but most of us would rather not see people taking shots at each other right here.
7. Do not (DO NOT) discuss anything involving the plot of a game in this thread, where literally everyone could see it if they wanted to. Please PM me or one of the officials? instead.

~ Expectations ~
These are things all members or people who wish to join should be able to do. If not, I will most likely reject you. This is not stopping you from creating your own thread, however, you are free to do as you wish.
1. Members will reserve one post for their information, that they are in charge of keeping neat and as up to date as possible. (More info on this will be PMed later.)
2. Have decent, if not good grammar and sentence structure. Everyone should be able to understand you.
3. Have a good amount of pets to give away, whether these be purebred themed or nice-looking multiple vis. After all, it's not really a game if there aren't any prizes. Avi items are okay too, but you must have some pets.
4. Have decent writing skills. I can't really think of a way to explain this, but you should be able to both keep the plot going and interesting while giving a chance for players to get Sylesties. And try not to have awkward transitions.
5. Be active at least 2-3 days a week.

If I do not approve, I may reject you, but not without a reason, and you are welcome to apply again later. I may also not approve you immediately if there are things you need to work on but I feel could be fixed easily.

Have you had any experience running an interactive story before? If so, please link at least one.
Have you read all of the above rules and guidelines?
Are there any guidelines you do not apply to?
How active are you on Sylestia in general?
How often are you likely to reply to a game?
Anything else I should know about?
