Welcome to the Mental Disorder Club. I know, there maybe clubs for different ones, but this one is for them all. You can share what makes you unique(your disorder). Sorry, I hate calling them disorders. To join you just have to fill out a small form. Welcome to the club! I will be asking people to be in to have a name(like competition maker).

I don't like to think of my unholy trifecta of conditions as being unique so much as a huge pain to manage and a constant stumbling block that keeps my life interesting. There's been many times in my life where my conditions were seen as an extension of my personality, something my abusers used to justify their actions towards me. Really, at the end of the day, I just like to think I'm like anyone else, just with a bunch of crazy experiences and maybe a few more demons on my back than most.
I've been misdiagnosed more than a few times throughout my life with various things thanks to my family's manipulation and weird history (schizophrenia, bipolar 1+2, BPD, PMDD) so I'm still not sure whether or not I actually have ADHD with the severity of the anxiety and dissociative episodes I deal with regularly that appear outwardly as me being unfocused or hyperactive. It's much harder to get retested as an adult, so take that one with a grain of salt. All of my other diagnoses have been confirmed by 3 separate providers.
I'm currently in ACT therapy again and finally making a lot of headway getting myself out from under years of gaslighting, abuse, and haphazard, inconsistent psychiatric treatment, so I have to say for anyone that's still young and struggling, life goes on and it gets better, you can make it. :)
Hoping this can be a general resource thread for people since I like the idea of it so far as sort of a safe space for people to talk about what they're specifically going through/ask for support if they need it. Not sure what your plans are for this group, Row, but I'd be glad to help out with whatever you'd need here.
