Got it. Right now we can just work out plot and ideas for the land itself.
So you mentioned most of the characters in it before weren't human, but do you get the specifics of their species or anything?
Are they anthros, fantasy creatures, or just sort of a blend?
(Because I have an dark elf assassin I'd love to use but would probably have to revamp for this since I haven't used him in a long time.)

They're just fantasy creatures. Like dark elves, werewolves, dwarfs, etc. My character was a living shadow. She could fade in and out of shadows, along with controlling them and such.
And you could totally use the dark elf!

I saw it, just been sidetracked and ended up busier than I thought I would. f
Since I finally (mostly) finished getting characters up on my toyhou.se I figured I'd link it here to make things easier. There's a lot of characters I have lacking art and other details because I haven't touched most of my fantasy characters in years and they ended up scrapped mostly, but I'm willing to bring any of them here if they interest you depending on the plot we end up deciding on.
Mostly I'm interested in using Armand for now since he's really the only assassin I have on hand and he's a lot of fun, honestly even if I never got the chance to use him properly. Zeo also might be really interesting for me since I've never actually used him at all and if we are doing a bit of a more modern fantasy setting, I'd love to have a chance to use a character with a magic flintlock pistol.. aa
Your character sounds really neat too honestly, I'm a big sap for characters with dark magic if you couldn't tell already by all the demon characters I have. Like 80%?
Seems like the world's pretty flexible so we can pretty much do whatever which is fine by me. :)

Alright.
I don't really have a preference for the character you use, but Armand does seem pretty interesting lol. It's up to you and once we establish characters we can start on world building n stuff like that.

Cool. I'll probably stick with Armand and Zeo here since I'm really interested in developing both of them a lot further. They'd definitely be interesting to have work together or against (depending on who sides with who) since they clash personality wise just enough to probably make for some interesting side commentary. :^)
What ideas do you have for the world? I'm up for pretty much anything but I'm definitely interested in this type of late-Victorian 18th century type world. Are you thinking more steampunk type things or sort of a more traditional 18th century setting?

I'm thinking of more a traditional 18th century world, since it's what I'm mostly used to when doing similar roleplays.
As for the world itself, I can brainstorm some more things but as I mentioned before it is a heavy magic world.

Sounds like there would be a lot of magitech like magic powered trains instead of steam power, having things like electricity sooner thanks to really understanding electricity and other types of magic, but still using like horses and carriages, swords/sabers, and muskets/flintlocks.
Definitely makes for an interesting setting.

Precisely.
The world isn't super reliant on magic, but they're reliant enough that if it disappeared a lot of things would go wrong.
