To everyone who is still trying to make it to 8 completed sets, here are some tips.

1. You automatically get a Candy Heart for going all the way through the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon with a team of pets who are Level 59 or below.

2. You automatically get a Candy Heart for going all the way through the Dungeon Of the Forsaken.

For both 1 and 2, you do not have to do any of the puzzles! Just charge straight through.

3. When you go through either of these Dungeons, keep another tab open to a Zone that contains Region Chat, if you can. People who are through collecting Candy Hearts sometimes post that they are giving them away. Respond quickly! People also offer Candy Heart swaps in Region Chat. In addition, if a player announces they are about to combine a set of Hearts, swiftly ask if you may combine the Hearts for them and explain why.

4. Every Nurtured Egg and Hatchling has a chance of giving you a Candy Heart.

5. Every defeated enemy in Sweet Blossom Orchard, Astryl's Tranquility, and the Lost Grove has a chance of leaving you a Candy Heart. (But remember, only go into Sweet Blossom and Tranquility with a team that is Level 59 or below.)

6. In Sweet Blossom Orchard and Astryl's Tranquility, go after those placeholder bosses! They have a higher than usual chance of leaving you a Candy Heart.

7. In the Lost Grove, go after Druids, all the Nightfall Bandits, and the Ents. They also have a higher than usual chance of leaving you a Candy Heart.

8. Keep checking the Broker for the sudden posting of cheap Candy Hearts. They will be in the Miscellaneous category. Grab all you can. If you don't need them, you can swap them.

9. Some players who are no longer trying to complete Candy Heart sets are still searching for particular Retired Avatar items. If you get an item you don't want, create a thread in the Item Marketplace Forum. Put the avatar item's name in the subject line along with this--

[T] Hearts

This tells everyone you'll only Trade the item for Candy Hearts.


Caution: In case you haven't discovered this already. In Sweet Blossom and Tranquility, if a pet on your team reaches Level 60 during/right after a fight, you have zero chance of getting a Candy Heart from that fight! Don't let this happen! Watch your Level 59 pets' experience points bar closely.
