Hello there!

(This thread is really just for me to put my designs in one place, this isn't supposed to be project advertisement, unless you want one, of course)

NOTE: This is just a bunch of random stuff now. Barely even projects at this point. This is no more than a notebook now.

I want to make a bunch of Lord of the Rings characters!
I originally chose to use Luporas for this because 1) Elven lups, duh ,and 2) Mairon (Sauron's) connection with wolves, so I thought it was appropriate to turn at least the villains into luporas

Complete:

Mate?: NO, and there will not be one.

Changes:

Dyes needed: 7, 14 for Celeborn (no changes for Celeborn)

Mate?: Yes, Celeborn (same design)

Legolas:



Changes:
- Armor changed to green
- jewels kept blue both to preserve his eye color and as a reference to Thranduil's Jewels of Lasgalen
Dyes needed: One, I'm using Galadriel's base. I will likely not be making a mate. If you want one, you will have to dye the green in yourself.
Alternate: I use Galadriel & Celeborn's siblings to create Thranduil and....let's just call her Lasgalen, what the heck, in which case you won't have to dye your own Legolas.

Mate?: If standalone, NO.

DESIGN BELOW IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I'm not happy with it.

Mairon [Sauron]:



Mai is only an Elven Lup because he loves jewelry, and that was the only way to give him some. In-canon, he is NOT an elf, although he can take the form of one if he wishes (maiar and valar are shapeshifters that typically take on a somewhat-elvish form, although considering Mai has a separate Elvish form {called Annatar}, it's highly unlikely that they look *just* like elves.)

Mate?: If creating as a pair, yes. If standalone, NO

Edit: I have recently become aware that there is a debate over whether Balrogs have wings or not. My balrog vuls WILL have wings.

Nenya (Galadriel's ring)

- I considered giving her Leaf Wings to go with the floral design of the ring, but it is the ring of water, and Spirit Wings helped to incorporate that a bit in my opinion

Narya (Gandalf's Ring) - INCOMPLETE DESIGN

- Narya is the ring of fire. Though I wanted to keep their wearers out of it, I might put Cute Witch Garb on him in reference to Gandalf.

Vilya (Elrond's Ring) - INCOMPLETE DESIGN

- Marking & mutations were inspired both by the wavy design on the band of the ring, and the fact that it is the ring of air.

Which ones were your favorite(s)?

All of the Royal Elvens are extremely doable, and as a matter of fact the Feanor/Nerdanel pair are done, and Celeborn & Galadriel are waiting, half-dyed, in my hatchery. Plus, if you have some Elven redye ideas, I'm always open to new designs :) These particular ones were based off of LOTR/Silmarillion characters, but I'm really open to anything.

Longest to make, I'd say, is the Valentine nixi pair, two restricted traits is gonna be a bit of a mess to deal with, but I'm sure I can get it done. Stable space is a major issue at the moment, but I'll have to save up gold to do diamond trades.

I was thinking like 75k for Feanor/Nerdanel eggs (maybe a bit less) and 100k for Celeborn/Galadriel?

Ooh, I really like Sauron! The design really fits :D I also love LOTR, too.

I loved the Galadriel ones and the Valintine ones. You should definitely do some more Lord of the Rings characters!
