In a land of dark creatures, one comes out as the most feared and powerful: Vampires. The mythical creatures that surround them include Werewolves, Unicorns, Chimeras, Wendigos and Minotaur. Many more dark creatures are yet to come out of the dark, cold shadows. A few vampires were graced with the title of royalty in the world of dark creatures. Those with the title of royalty are more powerful than expected, they are feared, they are ruthless, merciless, and yet, they are still living. Creatures and humans fear them, they have no reason to. They've yet to prove themselves dangerous, they keep to the shadows, away from all who try to get close. They were cursed with a life of loneliness. They don't wish this on anyone so they stay away, driving others away out of selflessness.

They might be in the world of darkness, but that doesn't mean they are as dark as their reputation shows...

Backstory: If she had friends, they would call her Rae or Lina. But she doesn't. After 5 years of creatures running at the sight of her, she's gotten used to being alone. Despite that, she's actually quite friendly, if one took the time to get to know her. But they don't.

Backstory: He was born as a royal, not liking the hate he was given for this he ran from his castle and the comfort and luxury that went with it, he became a warrior, fighting off good spirits from their dark world. He was easily recognized from the missing posters but he was never turned in due to the fear that people held for him.

Caspian Romanov, the ex-Royal, walks down the streets, his cloak hovering over the cobblestone street behind him as he walks. Creatures dart out of his way, whispering to each other about rumors and false secrets. He snarls loudly, glaring at everybody near him.

"Don't you have something better to do than stare?" he snarls, baring his fangs.

Raelina, a current royal, wondered around the village. She had just came out of store, that the worker there gave her free yeast(flour). she was used to that type of treatment, and simply ignored the scared looks and whispers. It had gotten so old over the past 113 years.

The creatures around him quickly go silent, staring with wide eyes at him. They were frightened as he glared down at them, his black spiked hair shinning in the bright light of the lamps hung down the street. He snarls loudly before striding off, his cloak hovering behind him as he strides off silently, leaving only his addictive scent behind.

She glanced back at her stalker guards who followed her from the shadows. They clearly drawed a lot of attention, yet pretended to be invisible. She was going to return to her secret hide out and begin baking. It's quite unfortunate that there's no one to share them with, but she'd gotten over that. She silently shifted into a bat and took off into the air, carrying her flour.
