The top of the trees seem pretty dense, at first glance. It would be easy to walk over if you were careful of the thinner areas of leaves, but you had no idea of identifying where they were. You glance back at the tree, trying to calculate the time it would take to get there. From where you are, it would take maybe half a day. If you chose to climb down, it would probably take over a day. A screech sounds behind you, and you turn to look at what made the noise. A few pterodactyl-like creatures glare at you, and scream again, rushing at you quickly.
What do you do?

The hole does nothing, except a bit of dust falls from where it was disturbed. Suddenly, a large, strange creature leaps effortlessly on top of the wall. It has a humanoid body, very thin, and you can see it's bones outlined against the taut skin. Its hands end in long claws that pierce the stone easily, and a mane of coarse black hair runs down its back. On its head is the skull from earlier, and through the eye sockets, you can see red glaring eyes.
What do you do?

Fenn cocks his head, seemingly deep in thought.
"Hallucinations maybe? I didn't see anything wrong with the beach when I first saw you so..."
Fenn trails off, his eyebrows furrowed. He turns back to you with a thoughtful look is on his face.
"I remember my grandma telling me about something a while back... the legend of the Dream Eater. He appears occasionally in this world, visiting travelers, locals, anybody, in their dreams. They say he makes people go crazy with horrible visions, apparitions, and... hallucinations. I've never heard something happen when you're awake though..."
The sylesti by your feet whine, and one perks its ears up. You can see a shadowy figure in the distance, but Fenn doesn't seem to notice it, too distracted about this 'Dream Eater'.
What do you do?

I freeze, startled and very aware that running may make my situation worse. Noticing its gaunt figure, I slowly retract my hand from the wall and reach towards my backpack, hoping to offer it some of my food. I keep my movements slow and deliberate, though I mentally locate my hatchet so I can draw it quickly if needed.

(Ahhhhh I'm so sorry. I think I wrote a reply, but I ended up having to log off for something and never posted it... Also, not Adelaide from OTGW. I don't even know what that is...)
You toss the treats towards the sylesti, and the luffox snaps up both eagerly. He gets cuffed in the ear by the bulbori.
"You are currently at Wayward Fields, and my house is smack-dab in the middle of it."
She says, gesturing vaguely around her. The luffox approaches you shyly, and Adelaide glances down at it.
"But in a greater scale, you are at Nodia, a country of myths and mystery"
Adelaide says this last part like a robot, as if she said it many times before. But to your astonishment, the name was muffled and staticky. You couldn't understand what she said.

I'd got two treats to the bulbori to compensate for the ones their sibbling got.
"Not sure if that was by design, but I'm pretty sure I didn't catch the name of the country. Could you repeat it please?"
