I was doodling earlier and drew a creature that I really liked, and ended up drawing a version of it for each of the sylestia stages of life (egg, hatchling, adolescent/adult). I'd love to know what other's think. I don't really have a name for it yet.

I think that it looks like an interesting starting idea :)
(what I'm saying next is a suggestion if that is something you are interested in as a response, and hope not to come across as rude otherwise)
I think to make it more unique you could merge it with another animal's trait if not something else that makes it stand out from a base structure?
(I'm making the assumption that it's mostly based of a giraffe atm?)

That's a really good idea (and yes, it is based off a giraffe) I added a sort-of carapace to them, along with some scales on their necks and legs

The carapace actually sortove reminds me of an armadillo ^^
I think the scales on the front legs would make it hard for them to bend their legs, unless the scales are alike to snake scales rather than though scales?
