When you are ready to continue your Adventure, travel to the Enigmatic Grotto.

After finding Lady Saerielle in the Tree of Life at Faerina's Shrine, she informed you that she believes a dark entity is behind the corruption of both the Tree of Life and of Umbra Forest itself.

After returning to the safety of the sanctuary, Lady Saerielle suggested that you seek the guidance of a hermit, Casius Dusksong, who used to be a member of the local community. He was supposedly cast out from the sanctuary due to his unfavorable opinions. He is thought to reside deep inside of the Enigmatic Grotto.

As you and Jinxie head out towards the grotto, you are warned that there are reports of a massive horde of Undead moving in the same direction.

the problem is when i press continue to explore my pet alaways dies theres no other choice

have you bought your second and third pet party slots?
What party/ party order are you using

it says i didnt unlocked party slots yet so im going with my main pet only

You unlock the party slots by buying them- Slot 2 is unlocked in Esior's Haven Plaza, slot 3 is unlocked in Sanctuary of Saerielle's plaza.

Region 2 (umbra forest) onward is designed (enemy-wise) with the expectation that you have three party pets, so do that first.

What part setup are you going for? For a good balance, use a tank, attacker, and healer (in order of importance, in my opinion).

Make sure you have the right equipment
Dont use green blue equips
Put ur proficiencies and elements

Water and light are good for healign/protecting.
Air and fire are good attackers
Dark and earth are good tanks more or less


(All I can say is, dont do Light fire aand air together, unless you dont mind dumping a point or two into health. The setup also requires a lot of switching during battle and unless you're actually comfortable with it me) then I dont advise it, it's pretty slow going what with having to keep using positions and elixirs all he time)
