For a moment he stood there before finally setting to work. After a while he grew hot in the cloak about his shoulders. Yet he couldn't take it off. That would risk everything. What if they hurt him like they had Bastion? Then they would die.

nanita kept moving. No time to talk...yet.

The first bag was rather easy to fill even through the overwhelming heat. The second proved a little harder to get full. Panting some he wiped his forehead. Who knew that feathers could sweat? Well now he knew just what it felt like to have soggy feathers clinging to his back. "Do you really do this all day? How can you stand it with it being this hot?"

"Theres a good reason I haven't done this street ina while" nandita shrugged. "And yeah. I do it every day. Gives me something to do and I get stuff in return for doing it while trying to improve the place."

"Why not just get a normal job?" The elf asked making sure his good was still pulled up over his hair and ears. "If you are willing to work so hard towards something..."

"They dont exactly want someone with no proof of education and being a terrible ook with bad hand eye coordination I cant get a job elsewhere. Trust me I've been looking."

"Shoot." The elf curse lightly. "That means I can't get a job either." Flustered he kicked the nearest pile of trash to him. "Urg why does this have to be so difficult!? I have three days to make this all right again before we miss our chance to make everything better again!"

"What do you mean you have three days?" Nanita asked, confused.

He looked at her a moment. "You seem like someone willing to help. But you have to promise not tot tell anyone what I'm about to tell you." he hardly waited for her to answer him before continuing. "We came to this town looking for one like us." With that he dropped the cloak reviling his tiny white and gold wings. "One with powers as strong as ours."

Nanita stares at him. "....Whoa...."
