I'm pretty sure this isn't actually a bug so much as the algorithm was probably built for a less heavily used site? Anyway....

When you click on search for both maturities (eggling and hatchling) of Sylesti to nurture, you only get eggs in most cases. I want to say this is because the search engine returns them by youngest first (you also don't get cracking eggs until fairly deep in), but it means the average nurturer never does enough nurtures to start seeing both hatchlings and egglings.

Suggestion to make this more random? As when I search for both maturities, it's because I'd like more variety.

Low priority, though, whatever it is.

It does indeed start with newest (highest ID) first. Usually that's eggs, with the occasional abandoned hatchling in the mix.

When I want variety, I go for just hatchlings - there's enough species, trait, and color variation to make it interesting to me. On occasion when I do reach the place where eggs and hatchlings start to overlap, I actually find it more confusing to have to switch back and forth between the different nurturing options. But maybe that's just me, I don't know.

(It also tends to load faster when the parameters are more specific. Not directly related to what you're suggesting, but just seems like it might be worth mentioning.)

There is a big issue w/ performance atm in regards to nurturing. It's something that's been near the top of my list for awhile now that I just haven't been able to find time to work on.

I would love to rework how one searches for pets to nurture as it is an absolutely atrocious system, behind the scenes.
