*points to egg*

I mis-named it.

Should be MM 1717 as a reminder to philter it to that level of health when it's ready to hatch.

Instead it's MM 1517; I might look at the number in 3 days and go "Feh. That's not worth philtering" and hatch it normally, missing my chance at a 1717 health for my stats project.

I have a philter of amnesia. That would knock out the risk entirely since I could fix it.

But I can't use the philter of amnesia.

Because it's an egg. No other reason, nothing else stopping me from preemptively stopping myself from making a mistake. .-. Egg.

(Going along with this suggestion, throwing a prisma on an egg at any time would be much useful for the many, many, many, many times I've forgotten to use one or misclicked. Prismas only have /one shot/ at being used and there's no margin for human error; it's unforgiving. Being able to add a prisma at any point before hatching would give players a chance at taking care of that as soon as they breed their project eggs - no 3 day wait where things can change or they can't log on for the 24 hrs before a 3-day egg hatches itself with no chance to add a bonus. And for those with limited stock, they won't accidentally use all of their psirmas in the 3 days of waiting for an egg to hatch, and then be left without for part of their project or a theme or whatever the case may be.)

So... yeah. Using viable philters on eggs would be nice... (viable as in stats boosters, infertility, and amnesia philters - all of which have no influence on a pet's traits, gender, or colors which are unknown until time of hatching and reasonable to not use on eggs. Dyes, mutators, disrupts, and gender-swappers... yeah, pointless on an egg.)
