You are an Orphan, and have been your entire life. You were left at the Orphanage from when you were born and do not know of your parents or of how life should work. Ever since you were here you have been tortured, beaten, and harmed in many ways. In this time of darkness, not even a single light shined through.. and it only had gotten worse the day a man came asking to "adopt" you and a few other children.
As it turns out, he wasn't adopting children... he was taking in slaves. The cruel treatment only continues on from here.. but you've had enough. You and your group must escape your master and try to make a life for yourselves.. except, once you have escaped, you all know you must run until you're safe.. are you really sure your life is worth risking like this? Or, are you going to stay under his cruel hand?
Rules-
No overpowered characters or Mary/Gary sues
No one-liners
All characters are children, keep this in mind while making your character
Romance is allowed, but take extreme things to PM's or skip it
Gore is allowed, but put warnings for exceedingly gory stuff
( A skill is something your character is super good at, but please note that these are kids. The skill would likely be something not extreme like being about to make weapons from medal. You can put the kid is crafty and can sharpen things are make simple clothing, or knows medicine to a level, but realistic things )

Mason has trust issues, he has been known to take the blame so the younger kids wouldn't get the brunt of it. Mason is very charismatic, he tries to keep the others moving, even if sometimes he can barely do it himself. He is a laid back teen, but can break under intense pressure; when he does break he is known to isolate himself until he calms. He has a short temper with adults, especially careless ones. Mason resent wanting to get to know his parents, ever since he saw the note that was placed with him. He has a tendency to hide his emotions with a joking, un-serious, and bubbly personality, but he will be stern if needed.

Skill:
Aside from being a decent leader, Mason is a pretty strong kid. He is able to withstand quite a bit of pain, he has gotten used to it by now. Mason can lift up most of the kids in the group, with low struggle.
Other:
Dad-friend of all of the dad-friends.
Has accidentally called the group his kids once, he gets flustered every time someone brings it up.

Heath is extremely stubborn, even the most persistent have a hard dime coaxing him to do or stop doing something; and yet, somehow he got away with a lot. He's very playful, and enjoys anything that can keep his attention. Speaking of his attention span, Heath's is as short as a baby squirrel's. He's pretty overdramatic, but it can usually cause laughter. Despite his childish traits, Heath is able to hold his own in a fight, but usually his mindset is for number one. Heath gets flustered easily, usually Turing into a lobster when someone shows affection back. Heath has a short temper aswell, he's usually the kid to start the fight. He hates being called cute.

Skill:
Heath surprisingly knows how to forge and or cook sufficient meals, he usually served their old master his meals.

Will be slaughtered brutally by dogs.

Personality: quiet, calm, sweet, kind. But when something she loves is harmed, she get extremely emotional and unrational.

Skill: She's surprisingly good at surivval tactics. To a degree. But it seems like instinct for her.
Other: She tires easily and is terrified of strangers. SHe also has dyslexia.

Personality: active, popular among the orphanage people, chatty, bubly. She sometimes acts like AOi's older sister since they're both Japanese-descended (Spoiler: They are sisters but odn't know it) and she loves pink, sweet,s cute things, and hates the dark, being alone, and beingseperated from those she loves.

Skill Also survival tactccs. It's her natural instinct-like a sixth sense.

Personality: offbeat, quiet, antisocial. REaly awkward. He hates people in general. He loves pomegranates, technology, the dark, and solitude, and hates crowds, bright lights, and anyone who insults technology or learning (he's a nerd)
Appearance: Later (aka I can't draw his earring for some reason)
Crush(?): NEVER
Skill: He's a tech whiz. I mean, he carries around a repurposed knife that has a wrench for a handle. If you need something fixed, he's your guy.
Nicoted a bit of a technical genius. But due to being deied an education and being forced to work on much too advanceprojects, he eventually developed a hatred for adults.
Around age 9, when hed already entered his defiant goth stgae (and gotten his earrings and blindness), a young girl came to the orphanage. She was one of the few who acually wanted to be wih him and the only one who he acually trusted. She was also ckose to Hanoko and Aoi.
Hen one day she waskilled by something. No one knows what but the day after Nicote came out with his elg all messed up. It never healed right. He also recieved his oher earring and another poker to theeyes. Perhaps the staff dexided he would be pit om blame for the incident. Anyways, he became introverted and started getting defiant abot not trusting anyone but himself. So he grieves through wearing black and carving beautiful pictures. He only reaosn hell tlak to Hanoko and Aoi are because they knoe the real story, not the fake Nicote-killed-her story that was spread.

Trouble Maker. No one has gotten punished by the headmaster as much as her, even if she was his favorite it is not mutual, hence her frequent retaliations. Inside she is a good person, she has just been forced to do some pretty awful things. Really kind and easy to approach.

Nicolas is a very timid boy, he is extremely shy and easily scared. Out of many of the children Nicolas was considered the most affected of them. He doesn't try to show his fears, or pain, or anything of the sort. Even if he tried not to though one can always seem to tell he is always in fear of pain. He is the most willing do as commanded if he isn't hurt, which is why he is disliked by the kids.

Nicolas is amazingly good at taking trash and making it into something useful.

Though she can be considered too strong of a person due to this, she is actually a very kind and caring person who is gentle with people and kind to those who need kindness. She'd give the clothes off her back if it was food a good cause.

He spends lot of his time with the younger kids, making sure they are safe and well fed.
