i pounce on the creature, expecting to flail, i bit it, and injected the venom inside its body, then i look at the girl "so... you realize this creature is dangerous... right? it nearly killed me." i say to her, flying up there as a bluejay, and sitting near her, watching the horrific creature die

It's form slowly changed back to its original, natural shape, it shifted into a big around the same age as you and the girl.
"Levi?" the girl was staring directly at the beast that had now become a boy, he coughed as he began foaming from the mouth.
He shifted one more time into a strange animal that you had never seen before.
