There have been several time where it isn't clear if someone forgot to ping you or just pinged someone else. It would be nice to be able to tell whether a post pinged someone else or not somehow. I understand that showing everyone who was pinged in a post would make general announcements a nightmare, but maybe a "@Usernamea, @Usernameb, and 24 others" at the top of posts?

I agree that this would be helpful, especially in threads like the fest trades thread that Thunderess always makes where everyone is talking to everyone. I think it'll make it easier to tell if someone else already offered for something you want or if they just offering for the same item but from a different person (since people often forget to update their original post)

I don't think this change will be that hard to do (just guessing tho) since you can already see who you pinged. It just needs to be visible to everyone else now...
As for the pinging tons of people thing, maybe there could be a clickable ... after the first two or three names so you can see everyone if you want to but only if you want to.

The only objection I can think of is if people for some reason don't want other people to know who they're talking to though, though I think this would rarely happen.
