I feel like you're trying to race me.

There's a lot going on in basically every 6-vis design. It's something of an occupational hazard of the medium. xD

My ultimate goal is to have a 6-vis for each theme with each possible trait, so I've got a long way to go before considering my projects complete. But, yes, I also like being first at things, so I may have put slightly more priority on those projects which have opponents. Black Widow with Sraw, Sunfire Water Lily with Chocolat, Sunstream with you.

I'm a diversity breeder, and I enjoy being surprised by trait combos. Ideally, I aim for solid purples, and it's a bit sad that Sunstream came out with four blues. My worst trait-count first yet, I believe. Mainly because, yes, I was rushing. I admit, it was intimidating to go up against you directly, with so many firsts to your name.

But you needn't worry - I don't plan to put you out of business or anything. My breeding is almost exclusively for my personal satisfaction; I don't tend to sell offspring, and I don't anticipate that changing any time soon, at least until I finish my showcase set for myself. (Which, let's be honest, is never going to happen since new themes are released every few months.) And since only a handful of my projects have set trait goals, the chances of us being in direct competition for identical designs are minuscule even if I were to try selling.

I may be obsessed, and perhaps a bit too competitive, but I don't want to do anything to harm my fellow 'vorpa breeders' businesses. I know I could easily flood the market since I have a lot of traits and variety, but like I said, I'm doing this for my own collection purposes (and being able to say 'FIRST!' on my profile) and nothing more.

I definitely breed more for aesthetics, which makes my designs take a bit longer sometimes.

Did you really just go breed hundreds of eggs in an attempt to beat me to a first 6V again? I think perhaps you misunderstand the purpose of this thread. I'm not interested in a competition or rivalry.

The fact that you're so keen to breed any kind of 6V mess just to "beat" me is distasteful. I'd rather take longer and make a more thoughtful challenging design.

So...chill. I'm not interested. You can stop describing me as an "opponent".

My sincerest apologies. I did indeed misconstrue your intentions in simultaneously starting several projects in themes no one has even cared about which all happen to be ones I've been slowly working at, coming after my mention that I do tend to get competitive when another person is attempting the same thing.

But I know everyone has different goals, and that certainly not everything is about me. I'm sorry if I've offended you. My comments were intended in the spirit of friendly competition, not adversity, and if you do not appreciate them as such I will refrain from utilizing them in future. It's a game, and if my actions are not making it more fun for you I will of course abstain.

In my own pursuit of challenge, I tend to forget that not everyone thinks the same way. xD
