So I found this little guy someone was selling for 1g. he was unconscious, as were the rest of the pets in the stable. So I bought him, revived and fed him, and I sorta got attached to him.

I am going to say right now, that doesn't happen very often. Of course I see pets and think they are pretty, but I kinda think, "oh, another pet of the tons that I own". So I get them but for the most part they just sit in my stables. I still feed them and care for them, they still have a good life, but I don't have a very special connection with them.

This guy, though... I looked at him and instantly loved him. I'm not sure what it was... Pity? He was living unconscious in those stables, with a prosthetic leg, and no one who cared for him. Or was it the look of trust him? He looks so confident that I will care for him. And somehow no other puff has that same look. Could it be how loyal he looks? How he keeps fighting for life with a steady gaze, even when things are at their darkest? I don't really know. But I plan to care for him in a special way.

I came across two problems though, that I usually never deal with.
1. What should I name him?
2. What should I change his colors to be?

Usually I can choose a name fairly easily. But this time, I couldn't think of anything. I want it to be a perfect name, but my mind went blank.

Again, usually I can mess with the colors fairly easily. But this time I could never seem to get a perfect look. there is always something... missing.

So I am having a contest.
Redesign this guy, and give him a name.

I love his design as-is. It gives off a royal, fiery vibe. I think you should keep the design.
A few godly celtic ideas for you. since early Scotland and Ireland were split into kingdoms, there were a lot of battles and wars, so most celtic gods/goddesses are based around battle.

Arawn - God of the underworld, associated with revenge, war and for some reason, plants.
Bel - god of fire and sun. In some irish folklore, the sun, heat and fire are associated with purity and purification. That's why most ancient irish soldiers were cremated.
Camalus - god of war and sky. Wields an invisible sword.
Cernunnos - god of fertility, life and death. He was born during the winter solstice and died during the summer solstice.
Lugh/Lug - A druid god known for being a skilled carpenter and poet who symbolizes reincarnation, healing and revenge


And some more light-hearted ones.
Len - He wasn't a god but he lived under a river and made shiny boats for them.
Llyr - He's probably a god, no one really knows.
Ogma - He became a god because he's super athletic. He also made his own language.

The best one:
Brian - Probably a god of bad luck. He turned himself into a pig and his brothers thought he was an actual pig and ate him.

You could name him Reality
