I've played one online pet game where you can "lock" your animals if you need to. This meant that if you couldn't care for them for some reason, they wouldn't age, they wouldn't need feeding, etc. I thought that might be a good thing to add onto Sylestia, for when people go on vacations, or just can't care for their pets for a few days.

It also keeps players from locking their pets even if they are on. Which would mak eethe sylesti overload problem we already have worse.
(And have I locked pets while stil online yes I have. Sorry doggies..)

i dont think this would be useful.
stablehands auto feeds pets if you ever need that, nothing bad happens if you dont feed them for some time, they just go unconscious after 10 days of no feeding. once you feed them to full they will be the same as before.
also, i dont think anyone would want thier pets to NOT age..no point in that.

Other games with limits (like furry paws only lets you keep 1 or 2 pyooues) sure that's fine.
here: Just lok up all pets on advanced search. It's a nightmare and overbreeding is a hgue issue.
