This story begins on a sunny day in a sunny place. Classes have just ended and the whole class (all of us) are required to go to the library for a project. The project was hero themed.The heros were to train with their abilities, while the owners were to read up on how to raise a hero properly. The group approaches the library as Liam (my character) barks a command to his hero. And so begins the journey in which all are included, yet none know of it...

The journey to find violet




Liam

"Hold the door, now !" he yelled to his hero as she trailed him. He was not at all excited about this project...people.... he hated people...he walked at the front of the group as he entered the library.


Tetra

She immediately ran ahead to get the door just as her master commanded her. "Yes sir!" she replied with a smile....well, a half smile. She was so excited to get to meet other heros! her master tended to make her stay silent, but he told her that this year she was allowed to socialize, what a thrill!!

Nada trailed behind Edric. She walked slowly and looked very pale. Edric sort of scowled at her. She quickened her pace. Despite how she seemed, she still smiled. She had spent the last 4 days in her realm, only finally coming out today. Not only had this gotten her sick, but it had also angered her master.

Atticus
The young man begrudgingly allowed his hero to drag him to the library, a grumpy pout only visible by the way his lips were set. Why must he do this with the rest of his class? In fact, why do it at all? He had grown up with his hero. He didn't need anymore raising. Atticus had been kind and generous to Martin through the years and has already allowed him to practice his abilities. He was not like his parents or his big brother. He never would be. He huffed as Martin opened the door for him and he marched inside, sitting at a table that was way out of the way. He gestured for Martin to sit beside him, opting to stay silent for now and observe each of his classmates even more thoroughly as they came in.

Martin
He could see that his owner was agitated. Martin knew that Atticus did not like to be told what to do and with whom to do it. He also knew that Atticus had already done all his research on heroes. One does not gain the description of brilliant while sitting around doing nothing. Martin tugged his owner's arm and pulled him along to the library. He would not listen to his griping any longer. This was something they had to do, so they were going to do it. Their was no speaking between them, being so close that many of these more serious, almost business like situations were completed through silent discussion.

Peggi babbledcheerfully about her favoriteanimals, Alex half listening. Alex wasnt looking forward to the assingment, mostly since he wasnt the kind of person to keep tabs on his hero. I mean, really? It was already hard eough keepin the secret from Peggi, andanyway shed probably burst if he tried putting down limits.


Peggi dragged Alex behind her. "Cmon, you shoul be thrilled to spend so much timein your favortie place,Bookboyy!"


"Told younstop calling me that."

"Ok, Pigeon Prince."

"Even worse."

"Lighten up, im only messing eith your head."


"....Just call me by my name or call me sir or master or something not stupid already."

A teacher takes the lead and stands ona still in front of all the students. "Alright guys, I would like the hero's in a group and the owners at the table to our right. Hero's, you are to swap places with another hero. Any one will do. The pount is for the masters to understand that you will die one day and they may need to replace you, so they need to be prepared to take on a new hero with diffrent likes dislikes and needs. Owners, please try to nw kind to the heros you ate given, they are not your property but rather a classmates. When do give the signal, all of the heros will find a lartner and swap. Ready? Set. Go!" And with that the teacher encouraged the heros to find a lartner to swap with. In the case of extras, there were also to be groula of three. "I know this os complicated, but so is life." Said the teacher

Liam

He waited patiently for hia hero to find a partner, praying silently that she would not swap with someone as stupid as she was.


Tetra

She looked around the group of hero's seeong of any were willing to swap places with her. She was somewhat convinces no pne would since her master was....a bit rude.

Atticus
Swap heroes? This was their project? Replacing his hero and his best friend? He would never replace him, Martin was that important to him. He pursed his lips as he stared at the teacher with steely blue eyes, then looked at Martin. He didn't want a failing grade, but living with someone else's hero? His steely blue eyes and Martin's deep blue ones met and they came to a silent agreement, as usual. They would just have to suck it up and do it, then. But that didn't mean Atticus had to like it.

Martin
He couldn't believe how blunt the teacher had been about speaking of replacing heroes. However, more surprising was how Atticus hadn't jumped up and spoken his mind about it. His owner's parents had always tried to discuss it with him and he would always refuse such a conversation. Martin knew, though, that they needed to do this. Not just to fail, but as a learning experience. Step out of their comfort zones. Their eyes met and they agreed on this. He looked about for anyone to switch with.

Rosaline froze, arm immediantly reaching out to Coro's, gripping it with a semi-tight grip. Switching heroes...she didn't trust any of the other heroes, especially with her problems and everything. This was one of the many reasons she liked Coro; he was smart, and could help her a lot. She didn't want him to be switched with anyone else. Her free hand fidgeted with her ebony black hair as she looked at all of the other people.

''Rose...'' Coro mumbled, glancing over to the owner in question, light gray eyes dim. She felt a pang of guilt-she liked when he used that nickname..

She looked down, grip still on Coro's arm, but it seemed to slack a bit.

''Sorry.'' Rosaline released the grip.

( just to clear things up. The teacher menat switching only up until they leave the library.

((Oh. Well then, they're just a bunch of drama queens))

Edric frowned. He hated the idea of trading his hero for another even if it was for an hour or two. Still, he pushed Nada away from him so she would hurry up and switch. She fell but quickly got up to her feet. She took a deep breath and looked around. She looked back at Edric but he had already stepped several feet back from her. He stared at her though, watching her every movement. With that, she straightened up. She no longer looked so sickly and even looked somewhat proud. She glanced at the other heroes, giving them each a warm smile.
