Ok so 2 white stars is common? 2 green uncommon. 2 blue stars rare?
Just trying to figure these rarities out so I know whats worth catching and what is not. Any help is appreciated.

You've got the basic jist of it but not exactly :3 the color of the star is the only thing that matters, not the number of stars :3

The amount of the stars doesnt matter. That just represents how difficult the enemy is. (S a 3 star enemy will be harder to defeat than a 1 star enemy) It doesn't affect what you get when you capture a pet.

White stars= Common
Commons have no gtp (genotype points)

Green stars=Uncommon
Uncommons have 1 gtp. This means they carry a random trait, but CANNOT show.

Blue stars=rare
Rares have 2 gtp. This means they can either have 2 different carries, or 1 shown trait.

Purple stars=Epic
Epic have 4 gtp. This means they can have 4 carried, one visible and two carried, or 2 visible.

Orange Stars=Legendary
Legendaries have 6 gtp. However, legendaries can only currently be caught with masterful traps, which are available for 500 diamonds in the diamond shop.

So for gtp, it works like this:
Each carry=1 gtp
Each visible=2 gtp
