Hey there guys~ Anyone who knows me knows I love collecting legendary and mythical pets, specifically for the challenge of giving them makeovers and trying to beautify them up. I have a horrible track record of keeping before and after's though~ which brings us here to this pet sharing thread.

Show off your gorgeous Legendary/Mythical Makeover pets!
Don't forget to add before and after images.
Please stick with 250 image size so that the before's and after's can be placed side by side.

I'll start us off with two examples of pets that I do have before pictures for~

*Completely Recolored with Pet Dyes
*Added G3: Fairy Frills with a Greater Genetic Mutator


*Completely Recolored with Pet Dyes
*Used Two Restricted Trait Disruptors (trying to get rid of Jester's Crest and FAILED xD) which replaced Magma Runes and Ethereal Wraps with Astryl Wanderer's Glyphs and Grim Rose Bones
*Used a Philter of Gender Swapping because Jester's Crest on female flows better imo and I'm stuck with it
*Used a Greater Genetic Mutator to add G1:Water Tiger to try to tie in Jester's Crest


For those of you who have never done this before, here's a quick Q&A to help. Feel free to ask questions of you have any and I can add them here if they're relevant.

Q:What is a Legendary Pet?

~A legendary pet is a Tamed pet that starts with 6GP. When found in the wild, these pets are shown having Orange/Golden Stars.

Q:What is a Mythical Pet?

~A mythical pet is a Tamed Pet that starts with 8GP. When found in the wild, these pets are shown having Red Stars.

Q:How can I obtain a Legendary or Mythical Pet?

~Legendary and mythical pets can be found in the wild and can only be captured with Master Snares in Astryl's Tranquility and Festival Zones. They can be found in the Lost Grove with boosted stats- you can catch these with lesser snare traps if you're lucky. They can also be found in these zones as eggs.
~Legendary pets can be purchased from the scale shops for 1900+ scales - the more scales the higher the number of visible traits. (Fabled Pets, Puffadores, Lunemara and Kelpari not available from the scale shop)
~Legendary or Mythical Ny'vene and Puffadore can be purchased as hatchlings with enough marks and badges and with enough luck for them to appear in their respective shops.

Q:What do you mean by makeover?

Any or all of these listed:
~Using Lesser/Greater Pet Dye(s) to change a pet's Color(s)
~Using a Philter of Gender Swapping to change a pets gender
~Using Lesser/Greater or other Mutators to add traits
~Using Restricted Trait Disruptors to disrupt traits

Q:Why is this thread just for Legendary/Mythical pets?

~Legendary and Mythical pets are my lifeblood on this game. This is just a personal preference for me. I love looking at them and I think they're just more challenging to work with because there's only so much you can do with their traits.

first ever legendary from scale shop!

used 9 dyes, ggm for g2 tiger gene. that combo of traits was sooo hard to work with..peacock isn't easy with g1s, and runes cover up other genes too...

That is a beautiful legendary birb!
Peacock really isn't easy and it's a little awkward on male Aurleon since they have to smush it in to fit into frame but I think you pulled it off really well.

I haven't done one is a while and I've been meaning to make another Dire Wolf. This Spring Blossom event is just giving me the perfect time to do it.

~Regenerated 6 colors and added Gene 1 Kitsune and M3 Ornamental Headpiece
~Used 6 greater pet dyes and wasted 5 lesser pet dyes. (I hate lesser pet dyes. D:)
~Added a Mutation 2 visible.
~Used Trait Disruptor Spring Blossom

Finished~!

Completely recolored and added G1: Ocelot.

Editing these two in since they're using the same color palette. :)

Forgot to say this but grats on the mythical find Copeh! Mythicals are so stupid rare!! (I've still only seen and caught one in all my years. TwT) She looks great with that new palette.

Did one more Rikki this morning. Now I can add Petal Pollen into my project like I wanted and add super stats.

Been a while so I figured I would dye a pair of Aurleons and try to make Leaf Veins work~ Took my Jack'O lantern Ny'vene palette submission and edited it a bit~

Me: *looking through advanced search for regen Aurleon*
Also Me: *finds a released legendary Aurleon that's fully regenable in my released pets*
Also Also Me: "What...? Past me, what were you doing?"

Reclaimed and decided to do a makeover since it's been a while and I have a color palette immediately available. >.>

Reclaimed with 6GP and fully recolorable. Regenerated and added Hawk Crest in M3 with a GGM.


But now the real question is do I want to gender swap to a female?

Or do I get another Aur and dye the same colors for a breeding pair? :O

Disruptors hate me and she is completely changed.
