Can someone please tell me what kind of traits are rare.

Depends on what you mean by "rare".

All traits except the Restricted traits can be found on wild pets or generated onto a new pet via essence.

There's likely to be fewer of newer traits than older traits, but that's more a matter of how long the trait has existed, not a matter of the newer ones being 'rarer' as in having a lower percentage chance of appearing on wild pets.


Of the Restricted traits, Valentines Lace and Lucky Dust are the most common, as the only ones that can be generated via essence (though only during the Week of Love and Fortune Festival respectively), and the only ones that have Mutators.

The others are 'rare' only in that you need to either create a pet with the traits via using the correct majestic catalyst in sylesti gardening/sand sculpting/brewing/snowman making, or obtain a Disruptor of that trait set.
