While browsing the website on my tablet, some pages have a menu you have to click to have the sub-menus show up (mobile happy version) and other pages have a hover menu that will redirect to the first page of the sub-menu (impossible to navigate on mobile)

The hovering makes it impossible to navigate on a tablet as far as I could find. I have to go back to the home page to be able to get to the sub-menus under the "Account", "Explore" or "Social" menus.
"Games", "Shops" and "Trade" don't redirect so the submenus are accessible.

really? when i use mobile i just...click the thing and the submenus are right there...

In which version of the page? When I'm on the map (no sidebar, hover submenus) I cannot go to my inventory since I get redirected to the overview, but from the forum I can (sidebar, click to submenu) since clicking the menu makes the submenu appear and does not redirect.

I did not think it would be a browser problem, but maybe it is, both in mobile and on my computer I use Firefox and borh have the same "problem". On computer it is easy to go around since I only need to hover to get the submenu, on mobile if I click to see it I get redirected (but only from the no sidebar version)

I think if you do a light tap it will bring down the menu - or maybe it's a tap and hold? Something like that.

Same difference on both, if I am fast enough I might be able to click on the submenu before the page loads up, but most of the time the new page is already up. It's something I see a lot in websites that have hover menus that have a link has the first menu. If there is supposed to be a "click and hold" effect on these menus it is not working. A light tap is still considered a click on mobile, it does not make a difference.

Small edit, on my tablet there is a very small second where the submenu stays up if I don't click the text of the menu, but it takes precision and fast reflexes to click on the right submenu before it goes away.

Yea, unfortunately, the "old layout" is mostly no longer 'supported' and is on its way out - to be replaced with the new layer. It's just been a really long process and some things were preventing the switch over. At this point in time, I do believe I can switch everything else over. However, it just would take a bit of time per page to get everything all fleshed out and we have a ton of projects going on atm that are getting all of the attention.

I juat hpld, then when the popup thingy comes up i click outside of it and the menu is there.

I susoected one was a newer design, but which one is which? As a new user I read a lot of stuff about old/new layouts but it's not mentionned which one is which. Considering this particular "bug" does not make it impossible to use the websit I know it's not a priority, there are other more important projects :)
