Watch in awe as the alley cats race down the alleyways.

They stray from captive nature, joining with who they once were before man.

Yee captive shall never feel the winds push;

See the suns rays;

Taste the fresh meet of mouse;

Nor hear the song of the birds.

Yee captive may live long empty lives as a stray shall live short and full.

The human areas:
Most of the noise is here, sure there are homes out of this area but it is quieter out there. The captive cats live here.

Long paths:
These are tight areas that lead around the city, careful there are dogs.

Camp:

Here is where the stray group lives. This is a warm, secluded area that the youth and elder cats stay.

Juniper quietly padded around the house. She stopped to eat a little of the food her owners had provided. She hated it, absolutely hated it, but it was food and she was unlikely to find a mouse around the house. Eventually she made her way to the window. She would spend hours staring longing out it. Her tail swayed back and forth. She sighed loudly and leaned gently against the window.

Jess>
Jess slunk through the alley. She was searching for food for the group. Her stomach growled, she hasn't eaten in a few days. She heard a can clank on the cement from behind. Jess turned around, spotting a mouse, it was chewing on a piece of waist. She crept forwards, ears flattening, listening for a nearby threat. She sprang from her spot when ready, capturing the mouse. She quickly picked up the limp body and began to navigate through the maze, to her home.

Spruce and Aster>
The two males walked the streets, going on a supply run for the group. Especially for healing supplies. Spruce hummed a little tune as he watched a bird fly over head. Aster heard human voices ahead and nudged his companion. "We're entering human territory.", he meowed.

"Got it.", Spruce replied, with a curt nod.

Summer>
Summer sat in camp watching the kits. Her tail lashed back and forth as one of them played with it. She smiled softly, wishing she would have children one day. A little male tackled his sister, who was playing with Summer's tail. She squeaked as they wrestled in a heap on the old human bedding.

Speck saw a pigeon, stalking up to it she pounced and killed it quickly with a bite to the neck. The two of them soon had 3 mice and the pigeon. Moonlight mumbled "Good catch." as she picked up a mouse with her prey.

Thorn

The she-cat lay sprawled out ontop of one of the many worn-out mattresses, flicking her tail impatiently. The strange smells filled her nose as she observed the unfamiliar place, studying and remembering. Thorn looked around at each of the cats, trying to follow their movement paterns.

Jess>

Jess slipped into camp, bombarded by hungry kits. She purred softly, dropping the mouse for the siblings. Summer blinked at her thankfully. She noticed the new cat sitting up on one of the matrices. She turned to the smaller yellow female. "So we have a new cat?", She meowed, a glint of curiosity showing in her ice blue eyes.

"Yes she had come when you left.", She mewed.

Thorn

Stars, I hate kits. Too loud and whiny. Thorn looked over at the leader of the group, studying her every move the she-cat made. She stared at the starving female, trying to find weak points if she ended up ever fighting the cat. Eventually, she jumped down from the mattress and walked away further into the camp, uninterested and hungry.

Juniper sat up straight. She let out one loud, long, sad cry. This was it. She had given up hope of response from her kin. Her owners yelled for her to shut up and she quietly jumped off the window sill. Slowly she made her way to the living room. Her tail dragged behind her in a sad manner. She jumped up onto the couch and fell asleep.
