hi im luna im new. i saw an ad on FlightRising and decided to check it out. so far so good being limited to mobile but the tutorial was pretty easy to follow. any tips you wish you knew when you started out?

Now, tips I wish Id known when I first started playing.
. DO NOT use the healers in the game regions. Unless you want to get through the game storyline as quickly as possible, all you need to do is let your pets rest, if you will, for awhile, and their health & mana will build back up to 100% eventually.

. Not a tip so much as a good bit of FYI. If you want to use your starter pets four trait points but didnt know how to apply them when you first created it, just send a PM to Krinadon, one of the site moderators/creators, and hell give that pet the traits you wanted.

A few connected tips.
. Make sure one of the pets in your main party is a Fire pet. Why? Of the six elements pets can be attuned to, that is the only one that allows them to target multiple opponents at the same time. It doesnt even have to be one of the pets you currently use. It can be a backup one if you want. But once you get to the Umbra Forest region, it comes in very handy, especially in the Faerinas Shrine area & everything that follows it, where you regularly face two to three different opponents in battles.

. Make sure one of your main party pets is a Light pet. The role those play in battle is a healer. Having one is very helpful, because it can essentially (partially) heal your other pet(s) as well as itself continuously during battles.

. By the time you get to the region I mentioned above, make sure all three of the pet slots in your main party are unlocked & filled. Its virtually impossible to get through the Shrine & the areas that follow it without having a full team of pets.

That.....is really good advice. I have mostly been playing on the explore function in between IRL stuff (and im on Mobile so its less zooming around a page and clicking the wrong things since you don't have to move much around the page) and have...used the healer like twice already. Thanks.

so the starter pets start with 4 trait points? I feel like being on mobile made that page a little unclear perhaps or maybe I misunderstood what it said :/ I'm still a bit unsure about designing pets. Its very....overwhelming at first?

Oh good! Fire is MY element so of course I already picked it xD Having a healer is always good too so I guess thats next.
