Found eggs, that is. (And I realize I should probably know this, but I was gone for more than a year and wasn't here for that long before, so ...)

You gotta breed your pets/find nests i nthe wild/buy them to get eggs. They show up instantly. I think.

I meant, when I find an egg in the wild, how soon should it show up in my hatchery? Because I've found two eggs, one on the 25th, but it only showed up today/this morning, and one ... less than an hour ago, I think? And that one hasn't shown up yet, either.

....?!?! Are you sure it's the right egg? You're clicking on the "Take egg" and not "leave egg" button when you find them right? And maybe the first egg you found you just didn't click take...

Pretty sure it shows up immediately.

Maybe not 100%, but pretty sure I did, yes.

I am 100% sure that the egg now in my hatchery showed up several hours before I found another one, though, and also that I didn't buy any eggs since I came back(a bit over a week ago, during or right before the festival), so there isn't anywhere else it could have come from. (I did breed my starters, but only once since coming back, and the purple egg is a tamed one)

It did occur to me that the hatchery might not have updated before because I tend to have a lot of tabs open and had the nurturing page open in one of them almost all the time(this morning, the egg wasn't there when I clicked "Return to Hatchery", but after I had closed it and opened the hatchery directly a short while later, it was there), but I've tried closing it several times now and the second egg won't show.

.....Uh....That is WEIRD.

>..Maybe put in the bugs section? Sounds odd (but I can't really remember if that's happened to me since I usually have a lot of pets in the hatchery).

are you sure you got the egg? Sometimes in regions 1/2 the event plays out that something happens and the egg gets destroyed in an accident, if I remember rightly.
It should give you a link to the eggling (either on the adventure screen or in the battle log or both (I can't remember becauese I'm too busy cursing that I accidentally hit 'yes pick it up' because no I don't want that put it back))

Sorry for the late reply. I picked up several more eggs, and those did show up instantly(also bred some of my pets to other peoples pets, so now I have half a dozen eggs).
I guess the second egg had an accident, like Scathreoite said.
Edit: And I just confirmed(by accident) that the egg not showing up immediately was because I originally used the "Return to Hatchery" button! I clicked that and it showed only the purple egg(even though that hatched by now), and none of the eggs I got after that. Then I refreshed, and suddenly it showed all the eggs(and the hatchling).

And now I think I should probably go make a new thread, since my next question has nothing to do with eggs.
