You woke up, a dull pain in the back of your head. The first thing you noticed was that everything was completely silent. There were no birds chirping overhead, no leaves rustling in the wind and no far off sylesti chatter. The only sound was your own breathing. You were laying on your back, staring up at leaves of a rich purple color. The ground felt icy cold, and when you turned to look at it you noticed that instead of blades of grass the ground was covered in shards of ice, small enough that just touching them was enough to break them. You sat up, looking around for a clue to where you were. Your sylesti was laying next to you, looking just as confused as you were. Suddenly, standing in front of you was a mystical being, who looked just as powerful as it did pretty.
(I cant figure out how to add images, but if you want to know what it looks like look at saved ryori designs in the generator, it's saved as "walking among stars")
It wasnt like the creature appeared, really, it was more like it had always been there and you simply hadnt noticed it. But that couldnt be right, could it?
"Who are you? Where am I?"
You asked eventually, but the words caught in your throat as though the forest itself didnt want you to speak.
"Silence, mortal. This forest dislikes noise."
The eerie voice filled your skull, but it seemed more like it was a thought than something speaking to you.
"Talking will not earn you any favors. I am They Who Walks Among Stars. I have a task for you. See a Powerful entity, of sorts, has succeeded in annoying me quite thoroughly. I demand that you show him what a poor decision that was. I cannot do it, due to some rules that a pitiful creature like you would not understand. And failing me is not an option. Such rules do not protect you. I have granted you a few items that I hope will help you. However, I am unable to inform you who it is you are after. He will certainly hear me and snuff you out like a tiny spark before you can even begin your task, which could be highly unfortunate seeing as it is rather hard to get a human into these woods"
It paused, thinking.
"A fair warning, the only innocence in these woods are the sylesti that roam it. Anything that speaks, or rather projects thoughts as I am currently doing, can not be trusted. And listen to your sylesti. It understands good and evil better than you."
In an instant, it disappeared, leaving a small pile of supplies where it once stood. You look around, evaluating your surroundings. This would not be easy.

Welcome to my roleplay, The Silent forest! The goal of this will be to find the three other people and work with them to either do as They Who Walks Among Stars requested, or forge your own path and risk their wrath! For now, there will only be four people at once. I might up the amount of slots, or I might start another game, but to prevent myself from getting overwhelmed Im limiting the number of players. You can still post the form even if all the slots are filled and I will put you on the waitlist.

Available supplies:
(you get one from each section)
Dagger: 5 damage, can be used from up close or afar, concealable
Axe: 10 damage, can only be used up close, not concealable
Bow and (unlimited) arrows: 20 damage, can only be used from afar, not concealable
Matches - rope - gas stove (5 uses)
First aid kit - blanket
And everyone gets five servings of food and water.

Paths:
1: The largest, most well worn path. It looks like its heading towards some rather ominous mountains in the distance.
2: A thin trail, but when you listen closely you think that you can maybe hear a slight bit of sound, though you cant tell what, coming from that direction.
3: Hardly even a path, just some crushed plant life as though something recently traveled through it in something of a hurry. Your sylestis attention seems to be focused on it, but you cant tell whether its good or bad.

Everyone starts out with 100 health, 10 hunger and 5 thirst. If you run out of health you die and someone else on the waitlist takes your spot. First aid kits can restore 5 health to you, your sylesti or another player every turn. Every 5 turns you go down 1 hunger, same with water. If you run out of hunger, then you start losing 10 health each turn until you *completely* refill your hunger. If you run out of water, you start losing 20 health each turn until you *completely* restore water.

Three character traits for your sylesti (because I will be the one playing as your sylesti) Eh...kinda creepy, really helpful (but discret), knows WAY TOO MUCH about everything. No Seriously. It's a littke unnerving.
What supplies you have with you Dagger, rope, and first aid kit. (Whats a tangia kit?)

You chose to travel down the path that your sylesti was focused on. He paused as you started down it, then eventually got up and trailed after you. For a while nothing interesting happened, but the trail did widen somewhat. Eventually you came to a fork in the path, the left trail leading to a pleasant looking clearing with a few bushes holding berries and a small stream running through it, and the right leading to a shabby cabin with the door slightly ajar. Your sylesti seems torn between the two trails, seeming interested in the berries on your left but also sending occasional glances at the foreboding cabin.

You turn towards the right, headed to the cabin. Your sylesti glances longingly at the berries before following you. As you get closer, you realize you can hear something inside the cabin, and you can make out a candle light through the foggy windows.
Do you knock on the door, or just walk in?
