Hi!
Does anyone know if the Genetic Testing Kits are supposed to reveal mutations and genes while the pet is still an eggling? Whenever I would use mine on an eggling, it doesn't, but that doesn't make sense to me considering the tooltip says that they "...will reveal all genetic information".
Any thoughts as to why this happens are welcome. Thanks!

For a while eggs couldn't be tested at all.
Now, testing an egg reveals the pet's stats (useful for people who want to know if a pet is a good candidate for a philter at hatching).
As soon as it hatches, all genes/muts/hiddens will be revealed.

Understood. I guess they don't call you "The Perfectionist" for nothing. Thank you for the detailed response.
