Never said you didn't. Researching animals can lead to a very respectable career, one that can help many people and animals and improve quality of life, and I genuinely hope you continue pursuing it.

I know video games. I... I have no life XD

It happens XD It's all good

So I was thinking
Trees can't clap because they don't have hands (great start, I know)
But if you think about it, their branches are like arms and their leaves are like fingers
So are rustling leaves just trees really weakly snapping ',:/
I'm very tired XD

hmm, thats an interesting theory however it wouldn't be snapping becausing snapping involves motion which trees could not do, however it might be able to be classified as weak clapping, for this is the definition of clapping "A clap is the percussive sound made by striking together two flat surfaces"

Interesting...
But this is where the motion of the leaves is taken into consideration
While it's true that sometimes in their swaying they smack directly into each other, like clapping, more often they brush past each other
Which, to a human, would be more akin to the snapping motion of the fingers... or... rubbing hands together... as if to keep warm or express excitement at formulating an evil scheme
Trees are evil confirmed

0-o
Perhaps a mating call...
Or arguing over the proper way to take over the human race 0-0
Ah, the mystery of trees....

all very good points, but which area of the tree would they have their brain in? their hearts are dead so maybe they are evil? the heartwood in a tree is the dead wood in the center so it is obviously their heart and it is dead(shudders at thought of evil trees)

Could be in the roots... OR...
the trees are being manipulated, puppets to a bigger force... like that one fungus that's connected to like 90-ish percent of the world's trees 0-o
maybe the fungus is communicating through the trees....
